We knew nothing about the existence of the Afghan cookie until we had a request for them – vegan and gluten free of course – from a New Zealander. If you’re from NZ you need no introduction to this cookie!
They are known in NZ as ‘the queen of all cookies’. They are made of a mix of cornflakes and chocolate in the dough, topped with chocolate icing and a walnut! They are named as they look like the mountains of Afghanistan (please tell us if we’ve got this wrong!)
The Afghan cookies are the first of our new ‘Premium’ range.
